Bath Time with My Konjac Sponge & A Giveaway!

It’s been a long time since I’ve done an update about Roman’s bath routine. (Remember this!?) That’s mostly because things have stayed the same for the most part. I still use four main products:

These four things have been my go-to baby bath products since he was born and I’ve never been disappointed. Then recently, the folks over at My Konjac Sponge contacted me & asked me to review their new baby sponge. I have to admit, I was skeptical. konjacI’m really particular about what I use on Roman’s skin. When he was a newborn he had severe baby acne and I think that he’s got sensitive skin like his mama. Still, I figured it couldn’t hurt to try it. When the sponge arrived, I was even more skeptical because it was completely solid. Still, I wanted to try it, so into the bath tub it went. And then something magical happened. The sponge turned into the softest, lightest, most cloud-like material — absolutely perfect for washing Roman! I don’t know how to accurately explain it really. It’s nothing like any sponge I’ve ever felt before. It’s almost satin but it’s also a bit textured and you can feel that it gives a gentle scrub to truly clean the skin without irritating it.

Honestly, I love this sponge. (And no, I wasn’t compensated at all to say this — aside from being given one free sponge!) It’s become a must-have for bath time in our house and I’m planning to purchase one of the regular sponges for myself. It’s that good.

The other thing that I love about My Konjac is the brand’s commitment to quality and ethics. They only select the best quality ingredients — konjac sponges are made from 100% food grade konjac powder. The company never uses harmful ingredients and the sponges do not contain fragrance, artificial color, preservatives, parabens, talc, or any other additives that are known to cause cancer. My Konjac is committed to the environment — all products are vegan, natural and biodegradable. Finally, they don’t test products on animals in any phase of manufacturing and follow the highest standards for cruelty-free practices.

He looks so cute! Jian’s skin is sensitive, too. So I test it in my skin before I apply anything to her soft skin. I think you should try this trick!I probably learned it from Oprah!
