Every Friday, I post my favourite links, posts, & resources from around the Web. Expect to learn, grow, & be inspired!

1. It Should Never Come To This: If you read nothing else this week, read this.

2. The Most Intelligent Thing You Could Ever Do: A simple guide to creating happiness.

3. How to organize your life?: Practical advice about how to decrease the insanity & increase zen through personal organization.

4. Why We Forgive & Seeking the Great Spirit: Two beautiful, inspirational posts from Dr. Wayne Dyer about forgiveness & the natural world. His wise, gentle words never fail to brighten my spirit.

5. What’s in a (photo’s) name?: Have you ever taken so many photographs that you get overwhelmed with trying to create names or captions for all of them? This post contains a bunch of great ideas for naming photographs. You will never be stumped again!

6. The Wastefulness of Decluttering; or How to Make Less Count for More: One of the hardest parts about practicing minimalism (and getting rid of stuff) is the guilt we feel when throwing things away. This post teaches us how to overcome the guilt and move toward a simpler, happier life.

7. 10 Tips for Solo Travel in Foreign Cities: Won’t be long now until I find myself wandering in the city of lights—Paris. I’ve been doing lots of research about solo traveling. I found some lovely tips & tricks in this post.

8. My next journey – Around the world with no luggage: And while I am on the topic of travel, holy crap! Ralf Potts (of Vagabonding fame) is traveling around the world with no luggage! You’ve got to check it out.

The gorgeous photograph in this post was taken at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, California. I’ve got L.A. on my mind because I’m headed there tomorrow morning! It will be my very first trip to California—the Golden State—and I am so excited. I’ll be sure to take lots of photos & let you know all about it when I get back. xo

In love & light,
D.
