30-day-blogging-challenge

I would so much love to skip this challenge day. And I am sure that you can see why… Truth is that I haven’t even looked in my closet for months. I wear the same four pairs of pants and five shirts/sweaters on rotation. Because I haven’t lost all of my “baby weight” yet, the majority of my clothes don’t fit me. It’s really too depressing to even deal with my closet at this point. I actually did get in there over the summer and got rid of a lot. I donated several bags full and gave a bunch of the really cute stuff (that will never fit me again no matter how much baby weight I lose) to my sister-in-law. I am ashamed of what a disaster my closet is, but it’s just the reality of my life right now. Fashion is at the bottom of the barrel. And honestly, since baby cuddles & photography sessions with awesome clients are at the top of the barrel — I’m totally okay with it!

I thought about cleaning the darned thing and taking some decent pictures, but that wouldn’t be true to my current set of circumstances. So, there you have it. Unedited, uncut. Yikes!

  1. No matter how beautiful, pre-pregnancy cloths used to make me sad, too. It was so refreshing after I donated it. I feel so light & at peace with myself. It was the best thing I did after I had Jian. You should try it!

  2. Believe it or not, I have seen closets that look far worse than yours. At least you have stuff hanging on hangers. LOL My blog challenge asked what was in our refrigerator, not the closet. Imagine the horror my wife experienced when I took a picture of our fridge and posted it on our blog. LOL

  3. I could see a woman’s closet being full of good stuff, but I’m a guy, so it’s a rather boring answer. Dress shirts for work, dress pants for work, many various sports jersey’s, sweatshirts, jeans, and Jets fleece … it all resides in my closet. Oh yeah, one more thing, my wife keeps the boys vaporizer in my closet for the 350 days it’s not used.

  4. Today I cleaned my closet! I got rid of about three grocery bags of clothing of both mine and Tim’s. At least I will have a neat and tidy picture in a day or two when I get to this part of the challenge…or will I?
