This weekend I made nutritious, delicious, peanut butter balls. These are so easy to make and you can use any ingredients you’ve got around the kitchen. They taste healthy so you don’t feel guilty about eating them – – but they’re also just the right amount of yummy sweet.

For our cookies I used:

  • 1 banana
  • real peanut butter
  • dried cranberries
  • sunflower seeds
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • a few drops of vanilla extract
  • flour

Mash the banana into a bowl with a fork. Add sunflower seeds, peanut butter, cranberries, and flour. Add a few drops of vanilla extract and a dash of extra virgin olive oil. Mix ingredients together until your batter is the right consistency for molding.

Use a spoon to make little peanut butter balls. Spread the balls onto a foil lined baking sheet. Bake for twenty minutes or until they turn a light, golden brown. Remove from baking sheet and let cool on a plate.
