A Blustery Day & Our Diaper Bag Essentials

This morning, we took a long walk and stopped at the park just like we do almost every day. It was so windy. According to the forecast, we have a summer-like warm front coming in and the winds must be blowing it this way. I’m not complaining because that summer-warm weather will be so worth it! 😉

I’ve been meaning to do a “Diaper Bag Essentials” post for awhile, so I took some snaps of what was in our bag this morning. Our essentials are really basic these days and I’m grateful for it. Gone are the days of bringing along multiple changes of clothes (in case of diaper blowouts); pacifiers, rash cream, nursing covers, blankies, and so on. These days the bag is simple, just the way I like it.

When we head out the door, I grab a couple of diapers, a pack of wipes, sippy cups, and snacks for the children. For myself, I grab my phone, lip gloss, sunglasses, and an essential roller. That’s it, nice & simple. For snacks, the littles are loving Beech-Nut’s new line of toddler snacks these days. They’re so convenient and loaded with a ton of nutritious ingredients.
