Parks & Picnics & Spring Magic

Oh my goodness, friends! The past few days have been so intense, so much going on. Henry Rollins said, “In winter, I plot and plan. In spring, I move.” I am putting that sentiment to work in my own life, quite literally!

In the past few days, I’ve been getting organized, setting goals, and making magic happen. One of the big things that I just checked off the list is my website and social media re-design. It’s been something that I’ve been wanting to do for ages! It’s been a couple of years since my last re-design and it was long overdue. The new design reflects my vision for this site so perfectly and I’m really happy with it. If you have a moment, take a look, and let me know what you think.

In between all of that stuff, our days are full of parks & picnics! Another bit of exciting news is that my nephew, Aden, has started spending his days with us. He’s been in daycare for awhile, but things have just lined up recently with my schedule and with my sister’s schedule so that he can be with us. Roman could not be more happy. Roman and Aden play all day, from early morning until late in the afternoon. Watching them learn and play and grow together is such a blessing for me.

The boys are only eight weeks apart in age, so they basically have everything in common. Now that Marina is finally entertaining herself for short periods of time, I have re-launched my homeschooling efforts and now I have two, eager little students. Lots more on what I’m doing for homeschool/pre-school with the boys very soon. In the meantime, here are a bunch of photographs from one of our typical outings. We try to get to a park and “have an adventure” every single day. This one took place last week, at Ringwood Manor, on the most glorious of April afternoons.
