Welcome, Autumn.

We took our first hike of the season yesterday. Our forest is just beginning to change with the turning of the season. The air is thick with the fresh, sweet smell of fallen leaves. It is a magical time of year. A brisk hike is exactly what I needed this weekend after a rough couple of weeks. There have been so many highs + lows lately. There have been some truly beautiful moments at home and with our families, but work has been challenging in ways that are not good for anyone.

Big changes in my life often seem to happen with the turning of the seasons. As the leaves begin to fall around me, I feel big changes stirring in my bones. Welcome, autumn. I look forward to what you have in store for me.

The photos are very interesting with the old car blending into the surrounding death of summer’s life.
I hope all the changes for you are good ones.

I like your fall shots. Autumn hasn’t yet peeked it’s head here in Seoul. 🙂
