all in a golden afternoon

A couple of days ago, Roman & I took a ride down to my parent’s house. I wanted to take him for a walk in his stroller. The area around our house on this little mountain is wonderful for hiking but terrible for strollers. It’s all rocky terrain and the winding country roads don’t even have sidewalks. My parent’s neighborhood — where I grew up — is just the opposite. It’s all flat and it has great, safe sidewalks. Tuesday was the perfect day for a stroll and better yet, there were roses & peonies blooming everywhere. It was so gorgeous. I think we’ve found ourselves a new favourite afternoon activity.
