Chicken Keeping!
After five-years of patiently waiting, we’re finally getting chickens this spring! I am so excited. The construction on our house, my pregnancy, and our town’s previous ordinance prohibiting chickens on less than an acre had kept us from getting them sooner — but this spring, it’s on! I’ve been researching chicken keeping for years and now my planning is in full effect. You can check out my Chicken Keeping board on Pinterest to follow along with my obsession. Also, if you have chickens, please share your tips & tricks with me! I know that chicken ownership is not a walk in the park and any advice will be greatly appreciated.

B’gark! In the US can you visit battery farms & rescue spent laying chooks? I know here we got a few, they’re all scraggly and skinny when you get them, after a couple of weeks they’re in full health & laying again, plus it’s nice to give them a happy retirement.

Yes, I’ve just started looking into chicken rescue. It sounds like such a great idea. So good to know that you’ve had a positive experience with it! 🙂
