Oh, 2014! What can I say? You were terrible & beautiful — just like life itself.
There were a lot of hard times and plenty of insanely good times.
Last year, I watched my baby turn into a toddler and then into the sweetest little boy my heart could have ever dreamed up.
I did a lot of soul searching.
I made sacrifices.
I learned that people will never cease to surprise me: sometimes the ones who I didn’t think I could count on proved to be the most faithful of all; and the ones I thought would always be there were the first ones to turn their backs.
The most important thing that 2014 taught me is that — I’ll be okay. It took me thirty years to learn it, but I finally got it this year. With or without, near or far, high or low, and everywhere in between — I’ll be okay.
And last, but certainly not least, 2014 planted the beautiful little seed of a baby girl inside of me. She’s a fighter already & I’ve got a strong feeling that I’ll have my hands full with her, but I just can’t wait.
2014 blessed me over & over & over again. Grateful simply doesn’t cover it.
Here’s to 2015! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for me.
Happy New Year, friends! I love you now & always. Thanks for being here. xx

Aw, what a sweet photo recap. I can’t wait to see your little girl’s sweet face and to read all about how Roman and you parents transition into a family of 4! It will definitely be nice to see since I’ll be right there with ya! Here’s to new babies in 2015 and back to little/no sleep! 🙂
