I Knew Before I Knew

I have a feeling that people think I am crazy when I tell this story… but I tell it anyway because it’s the truth. In the beginning of September last year, I was sitting on the couch one day doing nothing exceptional. In fact, I think I was just opening mail. There were so many special moments after that one — telling Matthew, telling my mother & sister, telling my family & friends — but that first flutter and those excruciatingly exciting minutes after taking those tests — those were the best. I’ll never forget the joy I felt during those precious moments as long as I live.
