13/52 — Some weeks, it seems as though baby boy learns something new every day. This past week has been one of those. The other day, I was blowing on his toast to cool it down a bit. When I handed it to him, he blew on it, too. He’s started to imitate all sorts of things and it’s the sweetest thing. He waves hello and goodbye. He’s also learned his first sign! He does the sign for “milk” when he wants to nurse. And he’s just yesterday become aware that he can stand on his own without support. He’s been standing up on his own for a little while now but has only just realized what is happening. It’s incredible to watch him blossom every day, just like the most magical little flower.
