The 52 Week Project – A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, for one year.

20/52 — We spent the day outside doing yard work yesterday. I’ll write all about it soon. For now, here is my sweet one-year-old(!) posing on a log. This past week he’s finally started walking as much as he is crawling. I am slowly introducing shoes to the mix. He’s less steady on his feet with shoes on — but since we’re going to be outside a lot he’ll have to adjust.

  1. He is a little boy now, my goodness! But don’t worry, he can stay your baby for as long as you wish. Even though Asher is almost 3, I still consider him a baby. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    1. It’s amazing isn’t it. He really is a little boy. I was just discussing that with my husband. It’s so bittersweet — mostly sweet! πŸ˜‰

  2. I was just going to say (before reading the post) that he looks so big with those big boy shoes on. He’ll catch on to them in no time. Cute capture πŸ™‚

  3. This is too cute! You must be so excited that he is walking now, I enjoy this age so much more now that Berlin is walking. We can go on hikes and cruise around the neighborhood, its so much fun!

  4. Love the pose! πŸ™‚ Walking is right on the horizon for us, I think. I have shoes for when we go to baseball games and he insists on standing on the ground in front of my seat, so hopefully they fit for a bit longer once he starts walking. He has only worn them twice in his life! haha
