Food Diary: Quick & Easy Pizza
A couple of weeks ago I had a craving for pizza. Every now & then I’ll divulge in a slice from a local pizzeria (we’ve got great ones here in New Jersey) but most of the time I like to experiment with making my own. I love to try different toppings like olives, roasted veggies, and even pineapple. But on this day, I was in the mood for a quick & easy traditional tomato sauce & mozzarella pizza.
I love this recipe because it’s so simple, most of the ingredients are organic, and it’s way less greasy than pizzeria pizza.
Ingredients:
Organic bread
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Tomato sauce
Directions:
Spread sauce over bread slices, sprinkle cheese on top of sauce. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted & bread is toasted.
It doesn’t get much easier or delicious than that! Last step: Watch it disappear. 😉
