Five on Friday // 5 Gift Ideas for Mom
Here’s a little tip for my male readers. Buying gifts for women isn’t easy. This is a known fact. However, what most men don’t realize is that most women have a wish list hidden somewhere on the Internet. It may be an Amazon wish list, an Etsy wish list, or a wish list Pinterest board. If you can find this little hidden treasure in your wife’s life — you will most assuredly achieve superhero-master-gift-giver status in no time. 😉 You’re welcome!
The above suggestions come from my personal wish list, but I think they would make fantastic gifts for any mama. Some of the items on the list are discontinued, but all of these suggestions are fairly generic and, with a little digging, you can find the perfect variation for the mama in your life.
1. Mugs — Gorgeous mugs have been grabbing my eye lately. It is a big dream of mine to have open shelving in my kitchen one day soon, and beautiful mugs would make such a perfect addition.
2. Inspirational Banner — Funny, cute, and inspirational banners are popping up all over the place recently. This one cracks me up and anything that brings me a smile, is always a great gift in my book.
3. Custom Name Rings — These rings have been at the top of my list for ages now. I am most certainly planning to get two made for myself — featuring Roman & Marina — in the near future.
4. Baskets — I’ve been obsessed with baskets for a few years now. I can’t get enough. I think that they are so beautiful and, of course, they are super functional as well. Beautiful storage solutions are a win-win.
5. Comfy Sweatshirt — Giving clothes is a tricky business. If you buy something for a woman, and it doesn’t fit her (especially if it’s too small!) that’s a recipe for disaster. However, a comfy sweatshirt is a much safer bet. Buy it a full size larger than you actually expect she is so that it’s guaranteed to be soft, oversized, and adorable.
Happy Friday, friends! And sweetest Happy Mother’s Day wishes to all of the mamas, the grandmamas, and the folks who fill in for mama. You are wonderful. xo
