Ice Cream 1st Birthday Party for the Twins

Hey friends! I finally got around to sorting my photos from the twin’s 1st Birthday Ice Cream Party. We had the party back in July and it was a lot of fun. Our families came to celebrate Jonah and Jordan with a pool party and a visit from our favorite local ice cream truck. It was hot and a bit of work setting up, but it was all worth it. Everyone had fun and it was so special to celebrate our sweet Jonah Oliver & Jordan Violet for their 1st birthday.

There were so many special details woven into the day. I had a fun custom banner made to decorate the tent. There were little paper ice cream trucks for the tables. I handmade tassel garlands for the twin’s highchairs. A friend who has a local balloon company came to set up a little sprinkle-themed balloon arch to go behind the dessert table. My sweet baker friend made ice cream cone cookies for us and we got cupcakes from a bakery nearby.

There are too many thank you’s for me to count, but I can’t forget to thank my parents for letting us use their pool and backyard. And I owe the biggest thank you to my sweet, little helpers–Roman, Marina and Eliana. They got up early with me that morning and helped me setup all of the decorations around the yard. I could not have done it without them. That has been a theme throughout the twin’s first year and beyond. Roman, Marina and Eliana are truly the BEST big brothers and sisters, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. They help me more than I can put into words when it comes to the twins.

It was such a special day all around. Here are a bunch of snaps from the day. I will cherish this memory forever. I can’t wait to share it with Jordan and Jonah one day when they are older.
