Immunity Boosting Juice
This morning, we broke out the juicer for the first time in awhile and M. made the most delicious juice that we’ve had yet. Typically I have to choke down fresh juice — it can be so bitter and grainy — but this one was perfect. It was sweet, but not too sweet and quite smooth and refreshing. It’s also absolutely loaded with immunity boosting vitamins — perfect for this time of year when sickness & germs seem to be everywhere.
Immunity Boosting Juice
- 3 carrots
- 4 celery stalks
- 2 apples
- handful of baby spinach
- handful of kale
Yup, that’s it! Simple, delicious, and about as nutritious as you can get! We really need to start juicing more often. It makes me feel so good and the benefits are endless. Have you seen the documentary Fat, Sick, Nearly Dead yet? If you haven’t you really should!
Happy first day of spring, friends. I know I don’t even have to tell you how happy I am to welcome in the new season.

I try to force myself to like fresh juice, but I just can’t get down with it. (Green smoothies on the other hand, love!)

Thanks for the recipe, Dena! The kiddos love “smoothies,” and I’ll try this one for them! XO
