Roman loves to be outside. We spend time outdoors every day as long as it’s not raining. Sometimes we go out on walks or to the park, but most days we stay home and play in our backyard. We have two gardens that need watering & weeding, so there’s yard work to be done daily. I’m always looking for easy ways to keep him entertained while I get chores done. Balloons are always a hit. He loves to throw them up in the air, chase them around, and even gives them hugs & kisses.
On this morning, it was a bit warm out and Roman’s cheeks turned rosy immediately. This is a trait that he received from both his mama and his papa. The two of us have the rosiest cheeks and it was pretty inevitable that our boy would have the same.
The adorable pants and hat featured in this post come from our friend, Christy, at Sweet Lucy Jack. I’ve been dressing Roman in Sweet Lucy Jack for awhile now (remember these?) and I just love her pieces more and more.
Just before playtime was about to end, Roman got a little too playful with his orange balloon and it popped. I couldn’t help but document the faces that he made then — so sad, but so adorable.
Happy Tuesday, friends! xo

So cute! I love Sweet Lucy Jack, too! Got me a pair of cute leggings from her also. And my those ARE rosy cheeks. Are you sure you’re not just trying to cover up the fact that you’re a cheek pincher? I’m on to you, mama 😉 Lovely photos!

I love Sweet Lucy Jack! I pretty much love anything with a trendy boho design for babies. 🙂 Have you ever heard of my Etsy shop, Deer Jane? It’s similar in style with 100% organic options and 10% goes back to wildlife conservation. Thought you’d appreciate that, being a fellow nature lover. Anyway, I love your photos!
