Welcome, October

DenaOctober 5, 2020

Happy October, sweet friends. I am so grateful to be here in my favorite, most magical month. This year has been a hard one, full of twists and turns, trauma and breaking through in ways that we never could have imagined. But here we are, despite it all, in the final quarter of this unexpectedly chaotic year.

As the calendar flips to October, I am overcome with a feeling of nostalgia. We are slipping into my favorite season and inching toward my favorite holiday, Halloween. This year, perhaps more than others, this time is sacred to me. An opportunity to slow down, to reflect, to harvest. I am reflecting on what I have learned this year, taking inspiration from my triumphs and letting go of past pain, just as the leaves are letting go of their leaves.

While I am enjoying the magic of this season, I am also diving headfirst into a new chapter of my life that is going to require an incredible amount of effort, energy and focus. While I often try to make winter a season of hibernation, reflection and coziness–this winter is going to be different for me. I will work those things into my life, but the majority of my time will be spent preparing for spring, because this spring is going to be one for the record books! Still, it is autumn not winter yet, gratefully. These days I am laying down the foundation for what is yet to come, while soaking up the splendor of my favorite season, all at once.

I have so many exciting things to share with you soon, friends! So keep your eyes open for all of it. As always, thank you for being here. I am grateful for you in this season and always. xo
