Hippity Hoppity: Easter Basket Gift Ideas
Everyone knows that I just love holidays. They are such a sweet & special time to create memories and traditions as a family. Little ones might not remember every detail, but they will remember the feelings magic & love of their childhood. I want to make it as beautiful and magical as I can. They are little for such a short time!
This year, I wanted to share some fun ideas for you as you put together Easter baskets for your own little ones. In our home Easter is a celebration the resurrection of Jesus Christ and a joyful welcome to the beautiful season of spring. These days, for many it tends to be a holiday filled with sweet treats and cheap, environmentally taxing plastics–but takes just a little creativity to put together something sweet and memorable that means so much more!
This year’s baskets will be filled with some of my favorite things for spring, like eco-friendly chalk and bubbles. (We’ll be using the empty bubble containers to make terrariums later in the season.) I’ve also included a few favorite books that my little ones absolutely love and just a couple of sweet treats too.
Here is a little rundown of what will be in the “big kids” baskets this year.
• Where Are Baby’s Easter Eggs?
• Chalk
• Bubbles
We were also gifted a few adorable things for the twins from Kea Babies. They have so many precious gift ideas for baby’s 1st Easter. I am just in love with them all, especially the little organic bamboo lamb towel!
Happy Easter, sweet friends. And if you’re planning to dye eggs this year, check out this guide that I made about how to dye Easter eggs naturally. xo
