golden afternoon: goodbye
My Mom mom was a most wonderful woman. She had a big heart and a beautiful smile. She took care of me when I was sick. She made me oodles of noodles & the best grilled cheese sandwiches that I’ll ever have. When I was little we had sleepovers and oh, how I looked forward to those! She loved General Hospital & raised three amazing children. She was the best grandmother that I could have ever hoped for.
She left us yesterday morning. I miss her so very much already, but I cherish every sweet moment that we had together. She’ll stay in my heart forever. Now she is resting in the place where everything is beautiful & nothing hurts.
I’ll love you always, Mom mom. Thank you for loving me.

I’m so sorry to hear this beautiful Dena….
I’m deeply close to my grand parents too and I can’t imagine losing them, but I know it will happen one day.
There is no words that I can say that will make you feel better about your loss… The most important is to cherish and remember all those precious moments of life you spent with your grandma. They are the little treasures of life.
Lots of love my dear friend, thinking of you and your family xoxo

Thank you so much, dear Caroline. It is indeed a painful thing. Focusing on the love & the sweet memories are a comfort. Also, good, kind friends like you make the grief easier to bear.
Love & gratitude to you. xoxo
