my maternity photographs

This gorgeous set was taken by Lydia of Lydia Hudgens Photography. She is one of my favourite photographers + having the opportunity to work with her was a dream come true. We shot in Central Park as the sun was sinking low in the sky creating the most perfect, magical light. I love how these images capture the essence of my pregnancy — beautiful, soothing, full of hope + light. Of course there have been dark days + hard times — but in the end — this journey has been one of the most wondrous of my lifetime. I am so grateful to have this little bit of it captured forever. I look forward to showing these to our baby boy one day, “There you were in mama’s belly.”
