Family Camping 2017

It’s crazy to think that we have been camping at this spot since way back in 2014, and even crazier to think back to the years that I camped here as a young girl. This place has impressions on my heart that are deeper than almost anything I have experienced in my lifetime. Coming to this place with my children is, in its own way, sacred.

Here are a few of my favorite snaps from this year’s camping trip. One of the most special elements of this trip, is the fact that several members of our church family joined us this year. Aside from an amazing camping experience, we were also able to deepen the bonds of friendship and family that have been born within our church family; and I am so deeply grateful for that.

We held a brief, but meaningful worship on the Sunday of our trip. It was as informal as can be, in a tent, sitting in camping chairs — but my goodness — the bible says that: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — and it is as true as can be.
