Tex-Mex Lunch Date

We both had off on President’s Day so we made the most of it. We went to Babies R Us to start our store baby registry and then we had a lunch date at my favourite restaurant, Jose Tejas. It is the best tex-mex! Whenever I get to choose, it’s always at the top of my list.

Isn’t the decor just perfect? I can’t get enough of the coloured string lights + fiesta atmosphere.

I’ve never tried anything on the menu that I haven’t liked. Sometimes we’ll switch it up with appetizers, but for my main I always get the Eggplant St. Charles — fried eggplant topped with bubbling cheeses + cajun spices with a side of white rice, black beans, cornbread. Heaven on a plate!
