The 52 Week Project – A portrait of my son, once a week, every week for one year.

8/52 – Bath time is quickly becoming a favourite time around here. Gone are the days of my tiny little baby’s eyes opening wide with confusion as I slowly lowered him into his tub. Now, he’s ready to plop in & start splashing around as soon as he hears the water running. I just love our bath time routine. It’s such a special, calming time of day for us. When Roman is hopped up, the bath relaxes him & puts a smile on his face. I think he’d stay in there for hours if I let him — a little fish just like his mama? Of course, I take him out at the first sign of prune-y little toes. I can’t wait until summer when we can adventure into the lake & swimming pool for the first time. Oh, what joy lies ahead of us!

What a sweet, precious face! I love bath photos and little baby Roman is beginning to look like a little boy here!

he looks like he’s grown up overnight, here. in the face, though. like he’s matured. i wish we had a normal bathtub for moments and photos like this. Mia takes showers, mostly with just Daddy. Boo.

yes, we’re very lucky to have a tub. i can hardly believe how much roman loves bath time now. he’s even been sneaking into the bathroom during playtime!

Isn’t it the best when they start loving bath time?
