little trip to the farm market
This morning Roman & I took a little trip to the farm market to stock up on some fresh, local produce. We are so lucky to be a quick drive from so many wonderful farms. Today we ventured to Pennings so that we could shop & check out the chickens. We came away with eggs, tomatoes, eggplant, squash, cherries, and cucumbers. The cucumbers had literally just come in from the field and were still sun-warm. Talk about fresh!
On the way home we stopped to admire the wildflowers growing along the roadside. This really is my favourite time of year. Oh summer, please slow down and stay awhile. xo
P.S. A few weeks back, my dear friend Cristina was so kind to interview me for her lovely blog. I opened up about some favourite memories as well as what it’s like to be a new mama. You can check out the full interview here.
