“Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, “Do it again”; and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, “Do it again” to the sun; and every evening, “Do it again” to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.” –G.K. Chesterton

Finally, sibling portraits together! These are my favorite photos of yours, ever. And my own sibling photos are my favorite of mine, too. It’s still blows my mind when I see them together. I made them! What?! And also, it’s like looking into the future and into the past when I see them side-by-side. Future: I see all of the wonderful milestones that await the baby, having experienced them with the oldest. Past: I can’t help but to be amazed with how much the oldest has grown, remembering that she was once as little and helpless as the baby is now. It’s really hard to put these feelings into words, but I think you get it 🙂 Your babies are beautiful. And btw, Marina is a mini YOU and Roman is a mini Dad!
