A Mommy & Me Birthday Breakfast Date

I can’t believe that my baby girl turns 4 this month! Can someone please explain how that happened? Because I swear it was just yesterday that we were celebrating her 2nd birthday… I have no idea how it happened, but I do know that we will be celebrating my sweet, spirited girl all month.

We kicked off our celebrations last week with a sweet Mommy & Me Birthday Breakfast Date. Marina Grace was so excited to enjoy breakfast in Mama’s bed while we watched one of her favorite shows, “Spirit Riding Free” on Netflix. Both Roman and Marina have fallen in love with the show and its stars–Lucky, a 12-year-old girl and her beautiful wild kiger mustang named Spirit. It is such a fun and beautiful show, and it was the perfect choice for us to watch as we celebrated my very spirited Marina Grace. We enjoyed our delicious Eggo waffles with a few of our favorite fun toppings, including berries, colorful sprinkles, and Reddi-Wip. Eggo and Reddi-Wip are the perfect yummy pair for celebrating special occasions. We picked both of them up at Walmart, along with some cute party hats to make the morning extra special. Reddi-Wip is always a favorite in our house. It contains less hydrogenated oils than other frozen whipped toppings–real cream is a top priority. And we also enjoy the high-quality coconut cream in the non-dairy varieties. Eggo waffles are warm, fluffy and delicious. They toast up to a delicious golden crisp in just minutes and made the perfect easy “birthday cake” for our little celebration.

Here’s wishing that Marina’s 4th birthday is her best birthday yet. We’ll be doing lots more celebrating over the next few weeks. Birthday party planning is in full effect over here.
